Anybus CompactCom M30 Module - EtherNet/IP
The Anybus CompactCom M30 for module for EtherNet/IP is a complete communication module which enables your products to communicate on an EtherNet/IP network. The module contains the complete functionality of industrial network slave/adapter interface and integrates through a standardized and network independent parallel or serial application interface towards the host automation device.
M40 ETHERNET/IP – NEW IN-DESIGNS
The M30 EtherNet/IP module is built on the Anybus NP30 series platform introduced back in 2005 is still available and supported by HMS. However, in 2013, HMS introduced the CompactCom 40-series built on the award-winning Anybus NP40 technology. The M40 module presents a real high performance solution with very low latency, extended APIs and the performance and flexibility needed to meet today's and even the future demands of industrial networking, such as IIoT and increased security capabilities. HMS recommends the CompactCom M40 EtherNet/IP module as the basis for all future in-designs.
MIGRATING FROM M30 TO M40
For existing CompactCom M30 EtherNet/IP users, HMS makes it possible to migrate to the M40-series. The M40 offers a compatibility mode enabling M30 users to adopt to the latest technology.
